Because every AVE Global item is printed to order, we cannot swap it for another size after it ships. Two minutes with a tape measure saves a lot of disappointment. Here is how we recommend choosing.
Measure a shirt you already love
- Lay a tee that fits you well flat on a table.
- Measure the width from armpit to armpit.
- Measure the length from the highest point of the shoulder to the bottom hem.
- Compare those two numbers with our Size Chart. Match the width first, then check the length.
Allow about 1 to 2 cm of tolerance, since garments are cut in batches.
Fit notes by garment
- Gildan tee: true to size, classic straight cut.
- Comfort Colors 1717: relaxed and boxy. Size down for a fitted look.
- Sweatshirt and hoodie: true to size with room to layer a tee underneath.
Caring for the print
Direct-to-garment prints are cured into the cotton, so they do not peel like vinyl. A few habits keep them bright for years:
- Turn the shirt inside out before washing.
- Wash cold with like colors. Skip bleach and fabric softener.
- Tumble dry low or hang dry. High heat is the fastest way to fade any print.
- If you iron, iron inside out and never directly on the design.
